What is the Purpose of the Database?
The Player Database is the information about each individual player, such as how many events, what teams, and what events specially they have played for and in. This used to make sure each player is ranked accordingly and so teams recruit within their allowed limits.
How does it work?
When a team registers its roster, the members are put into the database. New teams with players that have never been registered before with the NXPL or NXBL will be considered D2 and put in the database. Players may register as free agents/guests, but will be considered D2 if the player has never been registered with the NXPL or NXBL.
How do I advance?
D2 players that play all events on a D2 team will be bumped up to D1 after world cup, but only if they place in the top 3 spots for the season. However, if a D2 player is recruited for a D1 team and plays atleast 3 events will be considered D1.
Am I always going to be considered Pro, Semi, D1?
No, if you do not play for one season, you will be dropped down one bracket. After two seasons of not playing, you will be dropped down to another bracket, so on and so forth.
